Polygon wallet has wrong USDC balance

Describe the problem:

Among other errors, Koinly thinks my Polygon wallet has a negative USDC balance of -3886.72064, when the actual balance is 0.

I have the following error log:

Wallet: Polygon (MATIC) (Polygon (MATIC))
Transactions: 322
Imported with: API

  1. 4 transactions are missing purchase history
    ---- Missing 1036.995167 USDC on 2023-04-16 03:47:27 UTC
    ---- Missing 2849.725473 USDC on 2023-05-28 21:18:02 UTC
    ---- Missing 28.8801481 CASH between 2023-03-24 06:56:47 UTC and 2023-05-28 04:15:59 UTC

Which exchange/wallet is this regarding?

This is a Polygon address, that I’m using via Metamask.

How did you import data into this wallet?
I pasted the network address directly into Koinly.

What have you tried to fix this so far?

I tried deleting and recreating the wallet, then when the problem persisted, I tried re-syncing the data from the start. Same issue.

Follow up: I believe that on 04-16 I converted USDC to the CASH stable coin, and on 05-28 I converted back to USDC. It looks like they were fairly normal decentralized exchange transactions, so I’m not sure what went wrong.

Hey @William_Tracy

Are these USDC txns involving greyed out tokens in Koinly?

I suspect they could be phishing tokens, but I may be wrong.

Please can you share your Koinly email in a private message, so I may take a look?
