Koinly ignores USDT to USDC conversion

Describe the problem: I transferred in Kaspa from mining wallet, converted to USDT, then to USDC and moved it to a different exchange. Koinly can’t figure out where the USDC came from

Which exchange/wallet is this regarding? Kucoin

How did you import data into this wallet? CSV, as the API was too old. For the one spreadsheet where it shows the trades, Koinly says it does not need it for some reason.

Wallet: KuCoin (KuCoin)
Transactions: 4
Imported with: API
3. 2 transactions are missing purchase history
---- Missing 612.2672 USDC between 2024-01-11 01:38:53 UTC and 2024-01-11 01:57:41 UTC

What have you tried to fix this so far? I tried to download a new copy and upload a new copy to Koinly.

Hi @spinalator

Delete the wallet and recreate it using the CSV import method only. Check out the instructions in How to Integrate Kucoin.

The file Kucoin provides you with is a zip file. You should extract it first (using any online tools). Then you will see that it contains quite a few CSV files. You should import them one by one into your Kucoin wallet. Just remember that some of them are empty sheets and some of them are not needed which get automatically rejected. The ones that Koinly needs will get imported smoothly.

Remember that you need this “BillingHistory” file generated for each year.

I deleted the wallet removed the API permissions. I downloaded the CSV reports for the last 2 years. It still has the same issue. It refuses to accept the spreadsheets that have the trades in them, which is the only reason I used Kucoin. Kaspa > USDT > USDC > move to different exchange and sell for fiat. It shows Kaspa still sitting there, and wonders where the USDC came from.

Please reach out to our support team via the in-app chat to look into this. Please attach the BillingHistory zip files for each year that cover your entire transaction history.
