Polkadot wallet API that once worked does not now when synced

Describe the problem:
I deleted the wallet and re-entered the same wallet address to reload the wallet and once doing so the API says I have no transactions. There are no errors listed

Which exchange/wallet is this regarding?
Polkadot {js} extension

How did you import data into this wallet?
API the first time when it worked and the second also when it did not work

What have you tried to fix this so far?
deleting it and trying it again and resyncing multiple times even from the beginning.
