Hi,
I’m seeing several issues flagged in my Revolut wallet and would like clarification so everything is reconciled correctly.
- Missing purchase history warning
- Koinly shows:
“Missing 0.04632786 BTC on 2023-06-06 18:44:11 UTC.” - On that date, I transferred approximately 0.046 BTC from Revolut to a self-custody Ledger wallet that I control.
- This was a transfer, not a sale.
- I attempted to manually add a receiving wallet to reconcile it, but the system is still flagging a missing cost basis.
- There appears to be a slight amount discrepancy between the sent amount and what Koinly flags as missing (possibly fees or API rounding).
- API upgraded warning
- The wallet was created using an older API version.
- Please confirm whether re-adding the wallet is recommended to ensure historical accuracy.
- No crypto deposits found
- The wallet indicates no crypto deposits were detected.
- I want to confirm that my full acquisition history is being captured correctly and that cost basis is not incomplete.
- API limitations notice
- I understand the fiat balance discrepancy warning may not affect crypto gain calculations, but I’d appreciate confirmation that it does not impact capital gains reporting.
My objective is to ensure:
- The June 6, 2023 transaction is treated as a non-taxable self-transfer.
- All cost basis data is complete and correctly calculated.
- My 2025 capital gains report reflects accurate FIFO treatment.
Please advise on the cleanest way to resolve these issues (API re-sync vs full CSV re-import).
Thanks
