Losses show correctly ~22k as "Unrealized gain" but when doing tax document its much less

Describe the problem:

Hi, I lost about $20-25000 so far this year trading crypto. I’ve done the majority of my trading (and thus loses) on Kucoin exchange, and typically purchased my crypto on coinbase. After uploading the two API, it is showing I have a cost basis of $22,070 and unrealized gains of -$22,068. That look about correct. However when I go to generate a tax report, it shows a loss of ~$800. I figured I need to purchase/upgrade my account to get my statements and such, but before I do so I want to make sure the Tax Documents correctly reflect the losses I took. Why is the 22k not showing up in my tax documents, and is showing as an unrealized gain? Those funds are gone, I was trading futures and got margin called and lost 30-35k one night, it sure is a realized loss. I wish it wasnt.
Which exchange/wallet is this regarding?

Kucoin

How did you import data into this wallet?

API

What have you tried to fix this so far?

Hi Michael,

Sounds like you have some errors in your data (or missing transactions).
Since you mention Kucoin, I would just like to point out that Kucoin treats the Futures as a separate platform so your Futures trades will not be included from the Kucoin API. This data has to be imported through CSV files (a file called PnL to be specific).

Feel free to contact our support team if you have any further issues with this as we might need to review your account to locate the issue.
