Kraken staking import issue

Describe the problem:
In the transactions imported via CSV from Kraken, any time I staked or unstaked a coin, this appears as two transactions in koinly (one send, one deposit). See screenshot.

This definitely doesn’t make sense, since I didn’t sell. Also, it is different from how koinly (or kraken) used to import/export this in the past. For my last import, these staking/unstaking transactions were not included at all in my transaction list.

I now see two options and wanted to enquire which one you would recommend:

  1. delete one of the transactions and mark the remaining one as either “send to pool” (case staking) or “received from pool” (case unstaking).

  2. delete both transactions, meaning that they don’t appear as part of a staking pool at all.

In order to judge which one is the better option, my question is: from a taxation point of view, what does “sending to pool” imply? Are these coins sent to the pool ignored (i.e. not included in any sell calculations) as long as they are part of the pool?

I’m also facing a related issue:
Any kraken staking reward I received so far is NOT counted as going into a staking pool. I would somehow manually have to create a lot of “send to staking pool” transactions, in order to make them be counted as part of the pool.

Which exchange/wallet is this regarding?

How did you import data into this wallet?
CSV import

What have you tried to fix this so far?
