Describe the problem:
I have an LP that was sent to pool and removed from pool. The app doesn’t match these two
sets of transactions up. I’m assuming it’s because the before and after values don’t match. It doesn’t
realized that the values can change so it’s not tying them together. UNISWAP LP went down a lot
and shows a gain rather than a loss.
Which exchange/wallet is this regarding?
ETH Metamask.
How did you import data into this wallet?
API
What have you tried to fix this so far?
Tried to change cost basis, but it won’t allow for this action.
It seems Koinly does not recognize Uniswap LP NFTs yet to automatically show liquidity in and out. You need to soft delete the LP transfers , add deposits into a null token matching the token amounts and using a time tag close to the two transactions then merge those two . Here was input from Koinly
When you send 2 coins to liquidity, create 2 equal deposits with the default NULL or NFT placeholder for unknown LP tokens and merge them with the coins withdrawals that you send to liquidity. This will make them trades. Assign the worth value of the NULL(NFT) equal to the market value of the sent to liquidity coins. Thus you will get 2 liquidity in txns with realized gains. When you remove original coins from liquidity do the opposite trades (NULL(NFT)-COIN).
I’m not following. I create two NULL Deposit transactions. One for each in the Pair going in.
OK. Then you say to merge them. Do you mean merge the two LP in tokens? How will they get matched up to the LP out token?
The previous LP transactions are soft deleted, so they aren’t in the picture. I not sure why the Koinly note says “merge them with the coins withdrawals” Is that the same as the soft deleted LP in transactions I soft deleted?
