Latest Workaround for Liquidity in/out Pool Transactions

There seem to be numerous questions & comments on managing LP (liquidity pool) events and tokens.

The latest comment from Koinly support that I saw said three transactions can now be merged into one liquidity in /out event. However there are many comment from users saying this doesn’t work and my experience is the same in general.

Can we please have a definitive comment from Koinly support on what the current process should be. e.g.

It should work in all cases so contact support if it doesn’t.
It works on xyz chain but not abc.
It works in some cases but the parameters are too divers to say exactly which

Where it does not work the recommended practice should be …

Which exchange/wallet is this regarding?
Multiple but mainly Fantom

How did you import data into this wallet?
API

What have you tried to fix this so far?
All sorts…!

Merging all parts

usually or maybe always(?) fails

Merging One send and one deposit into a trade and editing the other part to zero value and managing the later transaction accordingly

too complicated to tie up liquidity in and out events and manage balances and tax implications

Delete all associated koinly entries and create two trades for half of the LP each

works but is very painful for numerous transactions

Same problem, seeking the same clarity.

What is the status with this topic? It doesn’t work most of the time. Also, there seems to be no practical workaround to this when the LP token is an NFT.

+1 really need this too

+1 on this as well! It’s 2 months later and still not a better workaround that I can see.

I strongly agree with this. I am encountering substantial problems with this issue and just cannot manually merge 3 transactions, despite the claim from February last year that it is now possible.

@Alexander_Koinly and @Petur_Koinly can you please help here? It’s a serious problem and frustrating that Koinly has claimed the issue is solved and isn’t responding to questions about this, so I (and I’m sure others) would really appreciate an answer.

Thanks very much

@Yussef_R hey!

Neither Alex or Petur are active on the forums lately. Please can you send a support ticket to us via Chat?

We can then escalate it to our Advanced Team who can provide you with the clarification needed.
