Describe the problem:
Hi Koinly Support Team,
I am reaching out to suggest an improvement in the way Koinly processes transaction data exported from the Crypto.com app. While using Koinly to calculate crypto taxes in Canada, I noticed that several transaction types listed in the exported CSV file are irrelevant to tax computation or too small to impact the final calculations but are currently being imported and used by Koinly, leading to inaccurate tax obligation calculations.
The following transaction types (located in Column J of the CSV) can safely be ignored/skipped during the import parsing process:
crypto_earn_program_created
crypto_earn_program_withdrawn
crypto_credit_program_created
crypto_credit_withdrawal_created
crypto_credit_loan_credited
crypto_credit_repayment_created
supercharger_deposit
supercharger_withdrawal
crypto_to_exchange_transfer
exchange_to_crypto_transfer
card_cashback_reverted
referral_card_cashback
lockup_upgrade
lockup_lock
reimbursement
dust_conversion_credited
dust_conversion_debited
By excluding these transaction types, Koinly can provide more accurate results and a better user experience for Crypto.com app users. I would greatly appreciate it if you could update your system to skip these entries during CSV import.
Which exchange/wallet is this regarding?
Crypto.com App
How did you import data into this wallet?
By exporting the CSV from the app and importing manually
What have you tried to fix this so far?
