How to treat rebase tokens (ampleforth)

I know rebase tokens are sort of broken in a traditional tax sense, but any ideas how to try to alter the transactions to best reflect the rebase? It shows the gains but doesn’t have a price point, which is fine because that will be treated at a zero cost basis …

Problem is on negative rebase it is not reflected properly in the transactions, for example my balances show DOUBLE the amount of Ampleforth when I only have half of that due to the negative rebase cycles.

Any ideas how to alter the balance?

+1, I know that Koinly was working on supporting elastic coins over a year ago, I would love to have an update on how far are we from having proper support now @koinly ?

I am interested to know about this as well. In their blog below, they said it would work as a stock split; but I couldn’t find how to actually input the transactions in that manner.
