Describe the problem:
I have some arbitrage transaction of swaps of same token (e.g. 1 ETH swap to 1.00001 ETH). When I add this transaction Koinly errors with “From currency should not be same as To currency”.

Tried adding transaction manually
In this case you should be able to just have a separate “withdrawal” transaction and “deposit” transaction, that should ensure everything is tracked properly. Technically when transactions are merged to an “exchange” transaction it’s more for tracking and visual appeal than effecting tax calculations, in “most” cases.
How does the cost basis tracking work here?
Will be a taxable event.
