I got everything situated within Koinly and it all looked relatively accurate. I then downloaded the TurboTax Online report and it is is just SO different and SO wrong… it says I bought 1004 ETH on December 30th… I wish I had that much money hahaha. But yeah nothing I seem to do resolves this… I then downloaded the “full tax report” and it is exactly what I see in the dashboard. Confused as to why these would show such drastically different things.
This data was all imported via API. I’ve tried to find the ETH transactions on that day and I bought about 1-2 ETH. It got the BTC one right on that day strangely enough.
However, this is not the only issue… As even if I delete that whole row and I sum up the difference between cost basis and proceeds columns, it still says I made about 7x what the report should show.
I’m having the same thing happening, did you ever figure it out. I put out an email to Koinly customer support last night to see if they can help something is going on with their turbotax export. I verified it by looking at the .txf file in notepad, its putting wrong data in there on some of my transactions.
I had this happen too. The downloaded PDF is also wildly inaccurate - it shows very large transactions I never made. Almost like I downloaded someone else’s data. I reached out to support but they keep insisting its a Turbotax issue, but the PDF data that I download that isn’t Turbotax related is also wrong. I don’t trust the downloaded tax report data right now given the magnitude of the errors.
The same issue is happening to me. I see transactions that do not match the website transactions. This is very weird. The TurboTax report is unusable to me. And I paid $100 dollar for this crap. And Koinly support is nonexistent. I raised this issue on chat with Koinly support and there is no answer to my query.
Hi, I downloaded the capital gains tax report which should not aggregate the data. However, the transactions are still way off from what Koinly is showing on the website. In fact, they are completely different. It seems that this is not just an aggregation issue as the dates and amounts do not match. Please help. Thanks.

Could you guys send an example of this r share your Koinly email so I can investigate?
Keep in mind that all of the reports will display the times in your local timezone but the Koinly dashboard will display everything in UTC times.
