Hello,
I’m reaching out because I’m experiencing an issue with syncing my Coinbase wallet on Koinly. During the process, I receive the following error message:
Some of your calculated balances do not match the balances reported by the API. The differences are listed below."
Specifically, the problem is with the EUR asset, with the following details, Koinly is reporting a wrong calculated balance, while the reported balance is correct.
Wallet: Coinbase (Coinbase)
Transactions: 51
Imported with: API
- This API has certain limitations:
---- No fiat part for direct buys/sells
Please provvide necessary support, in how to update the API if necessary or if there is something to add on my coinbase API configuration.
Hi @Pietro_Asghedom i @
We are aware of this error on Coinbase regarding fiat balances and have already reported it to our Engineering team:
This is directly handled by our devs and I do not have an ETA at the moment. You can follow the case and add additional comments if you wish via the link above. If you upvote the request, you’ll also receive an automated email notification when the status of this case changes.
With that being said, this is not anything to be worried about. Any and all FIAT balances showing in Koinly can be disregarded altogether, as FIAT sums are not included in your crypto reports, nor will they have any effect on your reported figures. So this is only a visual error and you can generate your reports.
