Balances per Wallet Report is wrong

Describe the problem:
If I look at my Binance wallet the wallet balance is correct and matches my actual Binance balance (I have not used this wallet in many months). However, when I run the Balances per Wallet Report for 2024 tax year the Binance balance is massively overstated (by thousands of euros). How can these two figures be different? I have not actively used my Binance account since last year. It seems that there is an issue with the Balances per Wallet Report itself.

I’m not sure what to do as the Binance wallet balance in Koinly is correct. It’s just the report that’s wrong?!

Hi @Keir_Whytock

You should check the calculated balances and not the reported balances by API as explained in XYZ balance does not match what you actually have on the wallet.

I suggest you recreate your Binance wallet using the CSV import method using the files you export following the instructions in the guide below:
