Yieldly has launched defi protocols on the Algorand blockchain: https://yieldly.finance/
After initial interactions with the Yieldly no-loss lottery: https://yieldly.finance/no-loss-lottery-staging/ I wanted to explore how the various transaction generated would be recorded in Koinly.
I found a few issues; that the YLDY token is not recognised; that their isn’t yet price history available in Koinly and that Yieldly bridge token swap transaction couldn’t be recorded.
Yieldly offers a bridge to convert it’s tokens back and forth between erc-20 YLDY on Ethereum and ASA YLDY on Algorand. Both tokens have the same ticker, YLDY, but are held on different blockchains.
To record a token swap in Koinly it is necessary to manually edit the transaction to alter it from ‘withdrawal’ to ‘swap’. The issue here is that the edit-transaction-workflow won’t permit a swap to be saved where the tickers are identical. I think this will need to be changed or worked-around.
Because users need to be able to keep accurate records for tax purposes could you help me to understand how / when full support and price history for new assets such as YLDY would be incorporated into Koinly? YLDY price data is just released on CoinGecko.
