Why does Koinly tax return ignores income tax on deposits from staking rewards?

I know I have to pay income tax on staking rewards in UK so where is it in the Summary? I don’t want to purchase a plan if it does not help me.

Hi @ennuied

Thanks for your message.

You should see your staking income here on the Tax Report page:

Income will only appear here if you have these set up to be treated as such and the transactions are tagged appropriately:

If you’ve done all this and they’re still not appearing on your Tax Report page, let me know! :+1:t2:

Hello Carl. Yes the settings are correct and I still get zero. The problem is that Koinly treats rewards as deposits. It only works if I manually tag each and every deposit as a reward. But I prefer Koinly to do this automatically.

Hey @ennuied

Thanks for the update. :+1:t2:

Which wallet is this for? I can check if there are any issues with that integration.

It could be that they do just need tagging manually depending on how the transactions are recorded on the blockchain, so just as a heads up, if you need to manually tag a lot of transactions at once our bulk editing tool would save you a lot of time:
