Why do withdraws count as taxable?

In my account it says that the algorithm can’t elaborate the cost basis of some cryptos that I bought in the same year… and the transaction should be present in the csv of kraken that I uploaded, oh well.
Anyway I just don’t get why these withdrawals that are just a transfer from the exchange to my private wallets count as a taxable event. Is this based on jurisdiction? In my country it surely is not like this (Italy). So should I just remove the withdraw from the transactions? Thanks for your help.

You can edit the transaction and set the transaction type to “Transfer” to avoid it being a treated as a taxable event.

I also have the same problem, can i really do that?

Yes. But it is your responsibility to ensure that telling Koinly to treat the transaction as non-taxable is correct for your situation and local tax code.
