Describe the problem:
I do not believe that koinly is properly accounting for liquidity mining transactions as it relates to the Gate_io exchange. Could you please review the following transactions for accuracy? This is one example of many that I have in my account.
Here is how the following breaks down:
- I purchased 2,500 LARIX on 9/21 for a total of $200.09
- I placed 2,490.96 of LARIX into liquidity mining on 10/23 which had a value of $233.83 on that day and Koinly is reporting a profit of $34.23 for that transaction.
- I removed 2,920.80 of LARIX from liquidity mining on 10/30 which had a value of $198.41 on that day which is $34.42 less than it’s value when it went into liquidity and Koinly reported no loss for that transaction.
- I sold $2,929.833 of LARIX on 11/4 which had a value of $203.51 and Koinly reported a profit of $4.38 for that transaction.
Net, net, Koinly is reporting total profits of $38.61. My initial investment was $200.09 and my final payout was $203.51 a difference of only $3.42. Koinly is over-reporting profits by $35.19 or 929%.
I have multiple coins that I have had in liquidity mining on Gate_io and I do not have confidence that Koinly is properly accounting for them.
