I participated in 2018 ICO, the company sent me the tokens which I still have in my ERC-20. Last year they were deemed a scam and the token value was and is currently worth zero. How do I report this purchase a loss. I can’t set this transaction as “lost” in the platform since the coins are still in my wallet. Should I send these coins to another address so I can label it as “lost”?
You can create a manual “withdrawal” transaction for that token and mark this transaction as Lost.
