Hello,
On my tax report, below my capital gains I have a small amount of "other gains (futures, derivatives), I think this is from perpetuals on Jupiter.
Would HMRC expect me to declare this as Capital gains or income tax?
Thanks for any help.

Hi @lykoin
I suggest you check with your accountant regarding this. In Koinly, you can choose to include the gains and losses from futures transactions in your Capital Gains, as explained in the guide Settings > Treat other gains as capital gains.
Thank-you Aria
I had no idea that there was a toggle setting for this.
I will try to find out whether I should declare it as income or CGT for the UK.
Great! We are always happy to help!
