Matic / Polygon Layer 2 Support [ADDED]

Had to manually merge or tag the following:

  • WMATIC to MATIC isn’t automatically recognized, WMATIC is never deducted
  • Bridging ETH to Matic had to be manually reconciled (Not sure if L1 matic bridge is a known contract that can be auto tagged as such. When ETH arrived on Matic side, it was disbursed via multiple transfers in varying amounts)
  • AAVE deposits/withdraws with token/aTokens had to be manually merged. Not sure what to do with Debt tokens? I think when you repay, you can use it to track your interest paid.
  • QuickSwap dQuick/QUICK transactions had to be manually merged (Where you earn on fees across all of QuickSwap by staking QUICK tokens).
  • Curve deposit/withdraws with token/cTokens had to be manually merged.

I imported my polygon transactions, and the first transaction that shows up is in February 2021. I have transactions going back to October 2020 and need this for 2020 taxes. What can be done?

Hi. You seem to know a lot about Matic transactions in Koinly. I just imported for the first time but it seems to start with February 2021. I have Matic transactions going back to October 2020 when Quickswap started. Any way for me to get those into Koinly without hours of manual work?

The WMATIC/MATIC wrapping and unwrapping not being detected is a huge oversight in my opinion. I hope it get’s fixed soon. It’s the feature that I am waiting for for purchasing Koinly (As well as AVAX and Terra support)

Does anyone know a good place to get QUICKSWAP prices back before it was on Coingecko or Coin Market Cap? For layer 1, I could always use Etherscan to get prices on the day of the transaction but Polygonscan doesn’t seem to have that ability. Thanks in advance.

Try here, from Quickswap’s own charts.

Set the time range to All, then click the line chart icon in the top left of the chart box (Next to D H).

You can also try here: QUICK - Quickswap Historical Price Data - Trade, Tick, Hourly & Daily Candle Data | Nomics
It has a complete list with historic prices from start to date.

Is there already a solution for correctly displaying/merging bridging Tx’s?
To elaborate with an example: I have 0.3 Eth which I bridged to Polygon via the Matic bridge. Relabeling the Out-Tx from Exchange to Transfer in Wallet A (Ehtereum) is not a problem, however, the IN-Tx in Wallet A (Polygon) shows a different Sender-Address than Wallet A (Ehtereum) because of the bridging process. So, how can we fix this? Or will there be an automatic fix for this released anytime soon?
