Describe the problem:
I noticed that a Futures liquidation event does not appear to be handled by Koinly, there also appears to be no tag for it.
Which exchange/wallet is this regarding?

I am contemplating trying to import CSV raw data file to see if that might correct it but I cannot see how Koinly handles a Liquidation event, there appears to be no tag for it.

I’ve looked into this for a while, but couldn’t find a similar case experienced by our users.
For now, I would recommend to fix this by using CSVs instead, as you mentioned. You can find our integration guide for Bitget here. I’ve also included a screenshot of the CSV instructions:

Does Koinly recognize or process ‘liquadation events’ ?
On Bitget it does not say much in the file other than the words
USDT BTCUSDT Liquidation for long 00.00000000
USDT ETHUSDT Liquidation for long 00.00000000
