KuCoin calculating/reporting incorrect balances

Describe the problem:
KuCoin transactions not adding up.
I don’t have many transactions and only BTC and WAXP are not adding up.

At one point I already did have WAXP adding up properly, but in trying to correct an issue with BTC being calculated as having 0.00000001 and troubleshooting it, I’ve resynced from beginning and now after having deleted everything and uploading CSV files, as well as auto syncing, it’s saying I have a calculated balance of 0.00000008 BTC and 60WAXP on KuCoin, when I don’t have any balance of those coins.

Nothing will add up. If I delete every transaction and resync from beginning it will report incorrectly, and if I do the same and upload CSV not only is it still incorrect I end up with a LOT more transactions due to KuCoin for some reason doing a single exchange as like 10 different trades.

Can anybody help with this?

What have you tried to fix this so far?
resyncing from beginning, deleting all transactions and uploading CSV files, doing both sync and upload of CSV as well as deleting transactions and generally anything I could to try to get them to add up.

Same problem here - At the moment the Kucoin API is pretty unusable. Really needs fixing ASAP

There is an issue with the KuCoin API at the moment, but we have a fix for this coming out tonight if all goes well!

So please try re-syncing the KuCoin tomorrow and you should find it working much better :slight_smile:

Is this going to fix the BTT redenomination? I’m getting wild numbers in my balance as a result and not sure how to fix.

Thank you for raising this issue- I too have this same problem with KuCoin - both with the API and CSVs. Look forward to the fix coming out asap as I’m still missing my purchase price history in most transactions

Just created a new Kucoin API and re-synced. At first the sync didn’t work (after 20 mins) but then synced again and seems to have my transactions in properly…still reviewing but fyi for everyone else, there is definitely a change since when I tried this before earlier in the week

The update definately made things better, but it has still not fixed the primary issue of missing transactions that the API is not picking up. I still have a high volume of transactions not showing. It could be something to do with if the user deposits funds directly into the trading account the API is not able to pick it up. At the moment however, this is still unusable for me sadly. @Alexander_Koinly any chance the team could have another look at this?

I just made the mistake of doing a complete resync of my Kucoin wallet. 1/3rd of the transactions are completely missing. There API is totally unusable. Is there a fix forthcoming?

If you plan to use Koinly for the Kucoin or Kucoin futures API/CSV, make other plans! Also, Binance chain and smart chain have given me 100 hours of headache over the last week with missing costs. but i have tried to compile the kucoin futures CSV documents in many different ways along with the API, still with no luck at all. Can we get an answer to when a fix is coming,?
