How to file crypto business tax in the Uk?

Hi there,

can anyone guide on how to file business tax for crypto in the Uk. I have Koinly but not sure where do i go about doing this here in the Uk. Much thanks

For UK business (Ltd co) you need to pay Corporation Tax (currently 19%) on any profit from selling and staking/mining and fill in form CT600. If you’re not sure what to do then there are plenty of online business tax websites that can do the paperwork for you (ie makes it easy to know what numbers to put in what boxes) for about £300/yr.

Hey guys,

Correct me if I am wrong, but we do have a cost-basis method for Companies that are using shared pools. Perhaps this is suitable for filing?

I will double check internally if we have any documentation around this cost-basis method :+1:
