Hello, in Germany crypto gains are tax-free if held for more than one year. Any idea how this is handled for pre-seed investments: Let‘s say I made a pre-seed investment in August 2023 but only receive the tokens from said investment now in January 2025 - can I sell my tokens tax-free right away since the initial investment was made more than one year ago? Thanks!

This depends on how you and your accountant choose to document the transaction in accordance with German regulations.
