Hi - I’ve noticed that option premiums paid when buying options on Deribit are tagged as ‘margin-fee’ (in fact, it is the sum of option premium + exchange fee). Wouldn’t it be more accurate to tag option premium paid as ‘purchase cost’?
This seems to be all the more relevant as, when looking in detail at my gains calculations, the full disposal amount is treated as gain as far as I can tell, with no accounting for the premium paid…
