Describe the problem:
Imported crypto.com app csv manually and USD Fiat balance is incorrect.
Which exchange/wallet is this regarding?
Crypto.com App
How did you import data into this wallet?
CSV/ Manually
What have you tried to fix this so far?
Checked file, reimported, looked at transactions but unsure.
i am having this same issue. it seems like koinly may be aggregating total ’ pass-through ’ usd value as current usd balance? not sure but just a hunch. it would make more sense given the figure that i’m seeing…
Seems like the solution is to also export/import the fiat wallet from the crypto.com app into koinly
I have tried this - importing fiat wallet also - but i am still seeing an (radically) off reported fiat balance…
Hi there, I am also having problems with incorrect fiat balance, could you explain how you fix this issue?
Thanks.
I think this happens when all the withdrawals are not shown on the csv or the api. Either way fiat balances dont affect crypto tax so i think you can safely ignore. You can hunt down the missing withdrawal and manually add it as an alternative but it wont change your tax outcome.
thanks very much, and that is appreciated. i still think though this should be fixed to report accurately. fixing this visible sort of miscalculation would go far in assuring prospective customers that there would be fewer, if any, ’ devils in the details ’ if you follow me.
when one is trusting that a vendor is genuinely ’ having their back ’ when it comes to the possibility inadvertently ’ perjuring ’ oneself to the I.R.S., appearances really do matter…
I know what you mean… But i think its on the exchange side that the api or csv data is missing these withdrawal transactions. I dont think there is a way to figure out why some exchange randomly does not include a particular withdrawal or set of withdrawals on the transaction ledger for Koinly to pick up. For example Coinbase has this issue for me and they are a publicly traded company with all the resources to provide accurate transaction history.
