Could Someone Help me with Missing Cost Basis & "NaN" Errors for Some Crypto Transfers

Hello there,

I have been using Koinly to track my crypto portfolio and prepare for taxes, but I am running into some issues that I have not been able to resolve. A few of my transactions especially those involving transfers between wallets and exchanges are showing a missing cost basis or displaying “NaN” as the gain/loss value.

I have double checked the API sync and manually imported CSVs from exchanges like Binance and Coinbase.

I verified that transfers are properly marked and not being treated as disposals.
I have also tried re-running the sync and deleting/re-adding wallets, but the problem persists.

Most of these problematic transactions involve older tokens or wrapped tokens (like wETH), and I suspect Koinly might not be matching them correctly.

Also, I have gone through this post; https://discuss.koinly.io/t/missing-purchase-history-with-aave-tokens-adai-rebase-issue-nightclubs which definitely helped me out a lot.

Has anyone faced a similar issue? What is the best way to manually fix or reconcile these transactions so the gains/losses are calculated correctly?

Hi @roberrttt

A transfer between two wallets should be matched automatically, as long as both wallets have been added and their data is complete. However, if any of the auto-matching criteria are not met, it may not be picked up. Please refer to the guide below for more details:
