Cannot Tag Defi Trasnsactions

Hi all

I am unable to tag a transaction in Koinly using the “Add to Pool” and “Remove from Pool” tags for the below transaction.

In this case I am withdrawing my cbBTC collateral from the Moonwell platform on BASE. Koinly has treated this as an EXCHANGE type transaction and I now have no way of tagging it with either an “ADD TO POOL” or “REMOVE FROM POOL” Tag. THe only Tag it is allowing me to use is a “SWAP” Tag.

Am I doing something wrong here? VERY ANNOYING!!!

The pool tags can only be applied to deposits and withdrawals and not Trades (exchanges).

If you have a trade that you believe should be tax-free, you can tag it as a “swap”. This tag removes the gains/losses and carries your cost basis to the new token.
