Binding IP's for Exchange API's

Do you provide Static IP’s to bind to exchange API’s

Some exchanges require this or API will expire after a 30 to 90 days

Hi, we dont provide static IP addresses at this time.

Do you provide them now? I have two exchanges that require a static IP.

@shabbychicnut hey :wave:

Unfortunately not, may I ask which exchange requires a static IP?

Same problem with Bybit. Without IP binding the API key is valid for only 91 days.

Will Koinly ever support static IP addr for API connection? I’m getting Binance reminders every 30 days saying the API link to Koinly has been inactive. I have to keep on generating new API addr each time. Simply pressing sync to my Binance account within Koinly does not ‘reset’ the 30 day countdown.

Hi Shock_Mox,

Binance, KuCoin, and many other exchanges have recently introduced an expiration time for API keys that are not IP-whitelisted.

This affects the API keys you use to sync with Koinly, as we don’t currently support IP whitelisting.

As such, I’m afraid you will need to create a new API key to sync your new data with Koinly every 30-90 days (depending on the exchange). The transactions you already imported to Koinly are not affected by this - even if your API is deleted, the transactions previously imported to Koinly will remain. I understand that it’s still an inconvenience and I’m sorry for this.

Enabling IP whitelisting is one of our most voted-on feature requests - please upvote it in our Feedback Portal - you will get an automated email notification once the status of this request changes:

Any update here? Phemex does not allow an API without binding it to an IP Address. So basically I cannot have an API key without IP binding. How to fix it?
