Binance Trading Bot transactions do not appear

Describe the problem: The trades associated with my Grid Trading Bots on Binance do not show up. If, for example I do ETH/BTC grid trading, and I put in ETH and get back a combination of ETH and BTC, then as far as Koinly knows, the ETH disappeared into thin air and some BTC appeared.

Which exchange/wallet is this regarding? Binance

How did you import data into this wallet? Sync

What have you tried to fix this so far? Looked into updating API - not sure how to.

Binance’s has set quite a few limitations when it comes to their API, one of which is not importing bot trades:

They also don’t include them in their CSVs, so the best thing to do is reach out to Binance’s support team and ask if they can send them to you.

If the CSV file they send doesn’t import to Koinly, it will be a case of copy/pasting the data into one of our custom formats to it can be recognised:

I don’t have a list of which do or don’t, but any limitations will be on the https://koinly.io/integrations/ page.

I can confirm that Kucoin’s API doesn’t import them, but their CSV files definitely do and can be imported to Koinly that way. :+1:t2:

I would love to be able to more easily assess the limitations of each platform without clicking through to every single page. I’ve been using Binance for years but frankly I keep coming up against limitations like right now. I would honestly switch to any platform (with minimal spreads and low fees) if it has a full API that really outputs everything! First I’m gonna look on here if there are any discussion threads on this topic.

Furthermore, your statement that Kucoin’s API doesn’t import bot trades is a limitation which is not mentioned at the Kucoin section of the https://koinly.io/integrations/ page you linked, which leaves me concerned that that page is incomplete and therefore not very useful…
