I have a basic question on the fee handling and how fees are calculated, maybe you guys can help me out.
Example from Bittrex-Export:
|Transaction|Order Type|Market|Base|Quote|Price|Quantity (Base)|Fees (Quote)|Total (Quote)|Approx Value (USD)|Time In Force|Notes|
|Bought|Limit|NEO/BTC|NEO|BTC|0.00322016|10.00000.000|0.00008049|0.03228218||Good til cancelled|Bought 10.00 NEO for 0.03228218 BTC|
So I bought 10.00 NEO for 0.03228218 BTC (Total (Quote)) with a Fee of 0.00008049 BTC
What Koinly now does is place 0.03228218 BTC in ‘Sent’ and 10.0 in ‘Received,’ which initially appears correct. However, it also adds a 0.00008049 BTC fee, which would be accurate if the fee were considered ‘included’ in subsequent calculations. Given that Koinly later reports missing BTC purchase history in my account, it seems that the fee is being added to the transaction. Am I correct?
So I guess I have to manually substract the Fee from my sent value in order to have the correct price?
Best regards
