Balance difference

Describe the problem:
Hi there,
I have received an airdrop .
Some of my calculated balances do not match the balances reported by the API. The differences are listed below
Asset ! caker.io ($ Airdrop…)
calculated balance 1
reported balance 500
difference 499
I do not know where is this difference comes from. I would like to point out that this is a scam airdrop. I have never interact with it. How should deal with it in my tax return. Thanks

Hi @tomsior

If this is a spam token/worthless, then you should delete all signs of it from your Koinly portfolio so that it is not included in the final tax calculations.

Simply soft-deleting is the best option, so it doesnt ever get imported back. The error is something you will have to ignore, as the balance indicator will always show a difference since technically you are holding this asset in the wallet.
