I moved coins from one of my wallets to another wallet and it shows as a sell from the wallet i moved from and a buy in the wallet that recieved the and comes up as capital gains in my australian tax report. Just wondering if thats whats supposed to happen as i havent sold anything and realised any gains

That’s not how your transactions should appear, so this indicates there’s an issue.
If both the deposit and withdrawal have been imported, the problem could be caused by incorrect timestamps preventing them from being merged into a transfer.
