Aave Loan collateral deposit being treated incorrectly as a gain

Describe the problem:
I deposited WBTC as collateral for a USDC loan on AAVE. In Koinly, it’s treating it incorrectly as a trade, where it’s logging a trade of WBTC for AETHWBTC where my cost basis for the WBTC is 14k and the AETHWBTC received is $28k leading to a gain of $14k. I need to edit this to be something like Collateral Deposit or something. I cannot edit transaction type to anything but trade. Koinly support said to tag this as “add to pool” but that option was not available. I tried to create a new transaction but there didn’t seem to be an option under withdrawal of WBTC for “Adding to Pool” or Collateral Deposit or anything to that effect. I thought about deleting the transaction entirely as my AETHWBTC represents my WBTC collateral, but I wanted to get advice before I do that.

Hi @LoLo

Check out our Staking article. There is a specific section for lending protocols like Aave that helps you document these transactions.
