"Unknown Response Format" when syncing Base chain wallet

Describe the problem:
my wallet on the Base chain is no longer syncing. Error message “Unknown response format”. I tried resyncing several times but continue to get the same error. Anything else I should do?

Which exchange/wallet is this regarding?

Tried syncing multiple times yesterday and today. Same error every time after about 1 minute.
