Solflare wallet sync is now reporting staked assets

Describe the problem:
Sync failed several times, then succeeded, but reported total now seems to include staked Solana, which it didn’t before. This is throwing off many different totals, global calculations of gains and value, etc.

Which exchange/wallet is this regarding?
Solflare wallet.

How did you import data into this wallet?
Sync.

What have you tried to fix this so far?
The ledger and calculated total is correct. Nothing I do in Koinly changes the reported amount. I recently staked a new handful of Solana and this DID change the reported amount, so the Solflare sync is definitely including the staked Solana now.

Happened to me too, just yesterday. I check my balance about 50 times a day so I was surprised when suddenly I had a HUGE gain from an hour earlier.

It is showing my staked Solana and also thinks I have that Solana in my main wallet. So basically double counting it and making it look like I have way more gains then I do. Previously you had to manually account for sending solana to a pool, I use Marinade. But now it seems like it knows you staked the solana and the manual entries are doubling your amount of solana.

I am just having it use my Solana address for my wallet, not using an API or anything.

What did you change Koinly?

Same problem here with syncing with my solana address. Koinly - please review this and fix as this change means its not clear how to manage solana staking in koinly anymore.

I now have 20 pages of tiny Solana transactions (100 transactions per page) after I unstaked 100 SOL one day ago (Sept 14th) from Marinade and sent it to Coinbase. That’s all I did, just unstaked it, sent 100 SOL to Coinbase and now I literally have 2000 transactions showing up on Sept 15th in my transaction report.

Almost all for very small amounts but some are .36 SOL or a little higher. You messed something up Koinly and it is really screwing my tracking up.

Please fix.

What is going on Koinly?

Even more data, I started scrolling back further and these thousands of transactions go even further back to Sept 5th.

They are all micro deposits of very small amounts mostly. Some are micro Sends. I check SOlscan and I don’t see all these thousands of transactions.

I also have suddenly another couple thousand SOL then I did yesterday and I have made no manual adjustments in Koinly, just API pulls and my wallet address is entered. This is getting out of control.

Who at Koinly can at least reply and let us know that they are aware of the issue and to sit tight?

Between yesterday and today, I have 3500 NEW Solana transactions being pulled into my account!!!

When I go look at them in Solscan, they don’t even have my Solana address associated with them. What is going on Koinly?

Hi @Scott_K @Jerry_Craigseller @koingatherer

Check out this update:

Interesting. Was there a heads up on this? Must have missed it. I feel bad for the customers who must have imported thousands of old micro awards that match their thousands of hand entered awards…

So, it seems to be recording staking rewards ok, but it seems to be missing transfers in and out. I’ve only had one transfer in and one transfer out lately, but they are not being recorded by the syncing process. It certainly shows on solscan. Not very reassuring. Also, it took about 40 minutes to sync the first time, and that is after I set it to start syncing from September 12, 2025. Subsequent syncs have been normal speed.
