SOL Cost Basis incorrect

Describe the problem:
On the dashboard page of Koinly which shows all current account holdings, my SOL holdings in the “Cost (CAD)” column shows $604.39 / unit as an “Average cost per SOL”. However, SOL never hit this price, making my cost basis inaccurate.

This seems to be related to the issue below, where for some reason my sale of SOL into USDC at a loss shows as a $0 gain instead of a loss, and the cost analysis for this transaction shows a number of “Invested in SOL” entries of 0 SOL but with a large cost value that I’m unsure where it comes from.

Why is this happening, and how do I fix it so it recognizes that my SOL was sold at a loss?

Which exchange/wallet is this regarding?
Not specific to any exchange / wallet. This is on the main dashboard view.

How did you import data into this wallet?
Koinly’s Solana integration

What have you tried to fix this so far?
Ensuring all the transactions imported into Koinly are correct, exchanges are properly classified, no missing transactions.

Hi @onchaindegen

Koinly calculates the average cost basis for each asset by aggregating all your transactions across all wallets based on your selected method (ACB, FIFO, HIFO, etc.).

Settings > Cost basis method

If the cost basis for SOL appears incorrect, it usually means there is an issue with the transaction history for that token. I suggest you go through the steps in the guide below to make sure everything in your account is accurate:
