Scam app on Apple Store

We want to inform you about the presence of another fake Koinly app on the Apple Store. Please be cautious, as this app is fraudulent. Rest assured, we are actively working with Apple to have it removed as quickly as possible.

If you’ve accidentally installed this fake app, we strongly advise you to uninstall it immediately. For your security, we also recommend changing your Koinly account password as a precaution.

I got tricked into installing this, because the beta app has started crashing at launch, and I was excited to see a non-beta version on the App Store. Logging in, it was obvious something was wrong, because it showed an empty dashboard and gave an error message saying I had to restore my wallets. The app otherwise looked completely legit, and the developer was listed as koinly.io. Changed my password quickly, but hope they weren’t able to do anything to my account in the time it took me to do that.

Scary. Please fix the beta app on test flight, so no one else is tempted to download this scam app!!

The TestFlight link in your post gave me an error message and suggested I contact the developer. Does Koinly still have an app in testing?
