Revert edited cost basis

Describe the problem:

  • I provided liquidity on uniswap. This was being charged as capital gains, but from what I understand this does not need to be interpreted as a taxable event. I tried to manually edit the cost basis but now that has messed up the liquidity out capital gains, and I cant figure out how to revert the edit.

Which exchange/wallet is this regarding?

  • Metamask/uniswap

How did you import data into this wallet?

What have you tried to fix this so far?

  • Tried to revert, tried looking in manual but this transaction is not present

Hi Phenozd,

You can permanently delete the transaction and then go to your wallet and click on
‘Having Trouble?’ and then ‘Resync wallet from beginning’.
This button will bring in any transactions that have been permanently deleted.

There is also a setting called ‘Realize gains on liquidity transactions’ that can be turned off in many countries.
