# Reconciling Cost Basis - API Import

**Describe the problem:**  
After syncing with Binance, is there a way to add one transaction to the Binance Wallet to reconcile the cost basis discrepancy? Directions say to download files and redo everything manually, then only sync new. Also, is there a way to download the synced transactions and edit it, then re upload?

**Which exchange/wallet is this regarding?**  
Binance and others

**How did you import data into this wallet?**  
API

**What have you tried to fix this so far?**  
Tried to manually create transaction, but it doesn’t “reconcile” the cost basis.

I don’t know the answer but I also need to do this an only sync new transactions. I am coming from calculating taxes my self so I have already manually matched up transactions before 2020 and only want to import new. There are a lot of transactions so I will need to sync, do mass fixes and re upload.
