Quadriga deposits and other missing data from hacked exchanges to determine asset cost basis?

Describe the problem:
I managed to piece together all my Quadriga buys from looking at old email receipts of transaction data. Best I could do is check closing price for BTC + ETH on those days to determine my approximate cost.

There’s other exchanges I have partial data from, including Cryptopia.

My problem is… I don’t know the deposit history for these exchanges as I can’t access the records. Because I don’t have this data, will Koinly NOT realize the transaction flow of assets like BTC + ETH to determine cost basis for some assets as there’s no… link or does it determine cost basis using data of transactions irrespective of the deposit history?

I think this is adversely affecting my cost basis of BTC + ETH and other assets.

Which exchange/wallet is this regarding?

Quadriga
Cryptopia

How did you import data into this wallet?

Manual

What have you tried to fix this so far?

Work in progress… Waiting for recommendations.

Bumping as well because I’m in a similar situation. I used quadriga back in the day and they screwed me over too, and I’m not sure to what extent it’ll affect my cost basis.

Hello,

Just wanted to bump this to see if anyone knows? Thank you!
