# Problems with Bitget puchases

**Describe the problem:**  
All buy transactions are dealing with a “cost basis” for USDT. This leads to the fact that every buy transaction reported a loss amount. IMO this should be only calculated and reported when i sell a position. E.g. Buy order with 100 USDT for MASK coin = 0.11$ loss.

**Which exchange/wallet is this regarding?**  
Bitget

**How did you import data into this wallet?**  
API

**What have you tried to fix this so far?**

Thank you for raising this issue! I’ve checked to see in our [feedback portal](https://feedback.koinly.io/) if this has been reported and while there are some issues our dev team has on their roadmap to fix, I’m not spotting this one.

Would you mind [connecting with our support team](https://support@koinly.io) and request they investigate the issue? If they determine that there is an issue our dev team needs to resolve, we’ll send you a notification once their work is complete.

Alternatively, we do have the CSV method available to import your transactions. The step-by-step instructions (written and video) are in our [Bitget integrations page](https://koinly.io/integrations/bitget/). I definitely understand and side with you on API being the preference. I want to signal that he CSV is only a temporary solution. 🙌
