Pionex CSV import creates false missing purchase history warnings

My Pionex wallet in Koinly is CSV-only. There is no API connection.

I imported the complete Pionex transaction history from the beginning
of my account. My first Pionex activity was in December 2024, and the
export covers all activity through the end of 2025.

The related Binance withdrawals of 1,000 USDC on 16 December 2024 and
100 USDC on 31 December 2024 were also imported and are now matched
with the corresponding Pionex deposits.

Nevertheless, the Pionex wallet still shows 17 missing purchase history
warnings, including approximately:

  • 4,004.52928142 USDT
  • 105.07323096 USDC
  • 0.00480087 BTC

The Pionex export contains both trading.csv and
raw-trading-details.csv.

It appears that trading.csv aggregates multiple bot executions and
assigns the aggregated transaction to an early timestamp. This may
cause Koinly to calculate a temporary negative balance even though the
individual chronological executions are present in
raw-trading-details.csv.

Could you please confirm whether the Pionex CSV importer correctly
handles aggregated bot trades?

Should raw-trading-details.csv be used instead of trading.csv, or is
there another recommended import procedure for Pionex bot trades?

I do not want to resolve the warnings by assigning a zero cost basis,
because the underlying trades appear to exist in the original export.

I can provide the original Pionex export files privately to Koinly
support if required.

Hi @Luder_Tidemann

The limitations of the Pionex files are as follows:

1. Perpetual futures cannot be imported from Pionex files and must be added manually as PnL.

2. Income from ‘Dual Investment’ also needs to be entered manually.

If you have these types of transactions, errors may be caused by them. If not, please contact our support team through the in-app chat so we can assist you further.
