I do not see a fix with the way koinly works today. From a tax perspective, in the majority of countries it would be considered a (retroactive) discount, irrespective of who grants the discount.
What would be possible - but inhumanely excessive work due to the very inefficient front end - is to create a txn that makes it a negative cost. however, then there would be the question where these coins originally came from. it could also be a gift, but this might lead to wrong tax implications in various jurisdictions.
