# Nexo swaps cost basis incorrect

**Describe the problem:**
It’s saying my cost basis for USDC stable coin swaps are pennies on the dollar which is why it’s saying I’m profiting hundreds of dollars when all I’m doing is swapping USDC for coins like bitcoin or ethereum. At no point was USDC worth $.10 cents.
I’ve already deleted and then reuploaded the NEXO csv and that actually inflated my capital gains by $9000 which made it worse.

I have a problem importing from Nexo as well. I sell my crypto interest for USD but it shows up in Koinly as Loan interest. Shouldn’t any earned crypto interest be a cost basis of zero and then be a gain when it’s sold for USD?

It appears that the format of the Nexo export changed a couple of months ago. One thing I did notice was that exchanging fiat to crypto did not deduct the fiat balance from Nexo so I had to manually change each fiat purchase to a trade, which then translated to a buy.
I have also noticed that by cost basis is too high showing a loss on some cryptos that I am actually in profit. I did the same as the poster by deleting a re-imported my transactions.
I think Koinly needs to look at the import process for Nexo following Nexo’s format change.
