# Missing transactions and errors

**Describe the problem:**

Transaction does not recognize or see the transaction directly below it and hence says it is missing the cost basis ? yet the proceeding transaction is directly below it, the system just does not seem to recognize it ? surely it can calculate from the obvious transaction before it.  
**Which exchange/wallet is this regarding?**

Exodus  
**How did you import data into this wallet?**

CSV, API  
**What have you tried to fix this so far?**  
I have tried re-adding it and its gotten worse.  
I have literally spent months updating this and it was fine but all of a sudden now I am getting errors. I dont know how to fix this.
