Mexc Sync issue with bad token

Describe the problem:

I get below error when trying to sync wallet. This was not a coin I purchased so it seems it was spammed to the mexc address. How do I have it to mexc ignores this so it doesnt fail the sync?

An error occured while trying to sync this wallet. You can try to sync again or contact support if the error persists.

Which exchange/wallet is this regarding?
Mexc

How did you import data into this wallet?
Using the API

What have you tried to fix this so far?
Just tried resyncing and waiting to see if the error goes way.
