# Lost Almost 4 ETH in Bybit with Leverage Trading but FIat Shows Gains

Anyone having the same issue? I have net gains according to Koinly due to extremely low cost basis, ie, each ETH has around $100-$200 cost basis. So the loss on fiat was minimal. But the gains were based on the ETH price at the time, ie, $3k to $4k. Although I lost almost 4 ETH, I am not going to pay tax on my loss. ☹
