Kraken Fee Credit (KFEE) is incorrectly valued

Koinly says that the KFEE in my Kraken account is worth $100, which is incorrect. Kraken explicitly states that it has no cash value. It can’t be traded, sent, or used in any way other than as a way to lower exchange fees.

Here’s exactly what Kraken says about it:

Kraken Voucher Deposit • Kraken Fee Credit (KFEE)

If you have a valid voucher code, enter it below to redeem for Kraken fee credits (FEE).

  • FEE have no intrinsic cash value.
  • FEE can only be used to pay Kraken trading fees.
  • 100 FEE represents 1 USD worth of trading fees on the Kraken Exchange.
  • FEE are automatically applied when you accrue trading fees.

So, it shouldn’t count toward portfolio values for the same reasons that nobody adds the coupons that come with newspapers to their total worth. Thank you!
